"The lawn looks great now, although quite a few were damaged and torn. I would also suggest paying the extra £10 to get morning delivery, as we waited in all day until it turned up at 5.30pm. We laid some down but as it started to get dark at 6.30pm, we had to finish it the next day. But, as I said, my lawn now looks fantastic."

"Good quality, Delivered as promised,the only fault is the pallet was in the front of the lorry and the driver had to unwrap the pallet and hand the sections to me one at a time ,the driver was very helpful but unloading like this caused a lot of damage to the cut edges.The grass has been laid with repairs filled in and i am sure will be OK otherwise good service."

"This is the second time I have used onlineturf for Rye Gold. ordering is very easy, price is good and delivery is excellent. The grass I laid earlier this summer is looking great so I was keen to get the latest order down. I was a bit disappointed that 8 of the 46 rolls were quite badly torn which made it much more difficult to lay and one of the rolls had a large patch of couch grass in it. Having said that, the grass is now laid and looks good, I will order again to complete the project."

Only complaint I have is that I rang & asked for it to come on 7.5tonne truck as we have serious access issues but unfortunately it was the last delivery at 16.30 on a 18tonne truck & I had to drive several miles with my trailer to meet the wagon. Fortunately the driver was extremely helpful."

Earlier in the same week I had phoned 3 different local suppliers, who either didn't answer the phone at all, or I had to leave a message. "The driver was great, delivered to the top of a longish drive. The quality looks really good, but of the 12 rolls, 2.5 were unusable.. I'm not sure how automated/quality checked the loading of the pallet is, but the outer rolls were neatly folded and placed in the pallet, however those underneath and in the middle were not very well rolled, partly spread out and unrolled. They were damaged and broke apart very easily. (2) The outer rolls were fine, suggesting it wasn't the delivery that caused the issue. A further roll was fairly well rolled, but contained a large stone that had cut through, leaving a hole in the turf, that the stone filled. This is quite disappointing. I had ordered this amount to turf an area where a large hedge had been removed, and thought to look to replace the rest of the lawn if this went well. It's a shame the good product was let down by poor packing."

The deliveryman was excellent - I have a very steep slope leading to my house and anticipated that it would be a kerbside delivery. "I ordered the grass and topsoil on 27th August and it was delivered Wednesday 29th August - fast delivery. Excellent quality, green and lush, and it was laid after area was prepared with the top soil. It is now 3rd September and the grass is thriving (still green and lush). The topsoil was really good quality and I am very happy with both my purchases. Customer service was great too and I really love the update emails I got regarding the maintenance of the grass.
