"We are absolutely delighted with this company and the turf supplied. The delivery man went above and beyond to put the turf where we could easily access it (difficult access to our garden). We laid this lawn three weeks ago in the pouring rain as we had no choice, but the turfs were lovely and thick, and lush, and even though they appeared to 'swim' around for a couple of days they soon took - even at this time of year. All our neighbours are so impressed with the quality of the turf. It's had its first mow, thank you online turf for the email, and it looks like it has been here for a long time. I cannot thank you enough for this turf."

"My daughters small 35sq.m lawns has been devastated by her children’s trampolene and their dog when it was a puppy. The surprisingly clement weather,(correctly) forecast to last through last week created an opportunity to double-dig and level for a new lawn so I opted for a Friday delivery. The turf arrived in a timely fashion in excellent condition with no hint of yellowing, no tears, moisture content perfect, polythene wrapping and stacking technique well honed. Ordered Friday 19th november for next day delivery, said between 8.30am and 2pm. The turf came 8.30 in the dot!. The delivery man was very helpful and obliging and got the pallets onto the driveway which we weren't expecting and we were very grateful. The turf is excellent quality and top soil rich. "Decided on the budget turf as I have dogs, very surprised at the quality of the product which came well packed on a pallet. Was concerned regarding access as my house is at the end of a cul-de-sac but it was not a problem. The delivery driver could not have been more polite and helpful. My only comment on room for improvement is giving the ability to track delivery as almost all other online companies now do. The customer service is excellent though."

"I bought Rye Gold Turf last October for my back garden, it took really well and has grown fantastically with a lovely even deep green colour. When I did the front garden this year, I bought another 60sqM and like last year it was delivered really quickly and in excellent condition ... first thing on a Saturday morning along with 4 bags of turfing soil so spent all day spreading soil and laying turf and it laid like a dream. Lifted a small piece this morning after 5 days, already see the shoots of roots starting to grow to the soil underneath. Really really pleased with the turf, the soil and the service ... "Having had a delivery of the Rye Gold turf last year that has settled in nicely, I ordered another 40 turfs this year to extend the lawn. I did not pay extra to get an early delivery but nevertheless the turf arrive mid afternoon which gave me a chance to start laying that day. Finished the job the next day and already it’s starting to blend with last years delivery. I had planned for a few spoiled turfs but all were in good condition and in fact a 41st turf that was on the pallet was a welcome addition. I have rung the office a couple of times and had prompt and helpful responses (eg I was told I should not apply an autumn/winter feed as the turf had already been treated, and to wait until spring to apply an appropriate fertiliser then."

"Turf arrived 8am on a Saturday, we paid extra to get delivery before midday and the 8am delivery was a godsend as we were finished by 2pm. All the rolls were in great condition none were dry or damaged I was sure to do a lot of prep as our garden was somewhat wild and stoney. The soil quality after tilling and sifting was very good so we didn't require any extra top soil but did use some bone meal just in case to help with root growth. It's three weeks on now we have a lovely lush green lawn ready for its first cut. All I would say is if your a novice like me prep is the most important things and the tips on this site were very helpful. Thanks again very happy indeed."

"Great tuft and well packed on pallets, what i would say is that the delivery wasn't straight forward as the very helpful carrier driver said he had to leave the pallets on the curbside/pavement, this was not possible as he had a pallet truck but could only unload off the back of the truck on the tail lift."
