Online Turf has been operating as a turf farm, called North West Turf, for over thirty years. Initially an agricultural farm in a small Lancashire village, the decision to turn the farm over to turf production was a brave one. However, the gamble paid off and North West Turf has gone from strength to strength.

Online Turf was originally conceived to help grow the business and to sell our great turf nationwide. E-commerce was still in its infancy at the time but it turned out to be another great decision.

Despite being a thriving company, North West Turf still believes in the roots that first made the business a success. Directors Andrew and Ian Mercer still maintain a hands-on interest in every aspect of the business and, even with an expanding team, they still uphold the values of a family business.

As we grow our own turf and source our soil and compost products locally, you can rest assured you are receiving the freshest turf possible by buying direct from the supplier.
